The Quality Assurance & Testing Intern will be assigned to assist in manual software testing, bug tracking, and Agile-based sprint cycles. This role is essential for ensuring product reliability in client projects. Interns will be exposed to defect management tools and will participate in SDLC documentation, QA processes, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual software testing on client or internal tools
- Log and track defects using approved platforms
- Participate in Agile meetings such as stand-ups and retrospectives
- Assist in writing test cases, user stories, and bug reports
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts during sprints
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards before release
Educational Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related courses
- Completion of the following courses (as pre-training):
- Basic Manual Software Testing + Agile + Bugzilla
- SDLC Overview
- Business Analyst: Software Testing Processes & Techniques
Experience Requirements
- No prior experience required
- Must complete all listed QA-related Udemy courses before start date
- Academic projects involving testing or documentation are an advantage
