The Systems Analysis & Business Processes Intern will support internal or client-facing projects by gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and documenting specifications. This role is designed for detail-oriented individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in systems thinking, Agile documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and documenting functional and business requirements
- Participate in requirement discovery sessions and interviews
- Draft Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and process flows
- Collaborate with QA testers and developers to clarify specifications
- Ensure documentation aligns with Agile practices and client expectations
- Contribute to internal systems improvement initiatives
Educational Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related courses
- Completion of the following courses (as pre-training):
- Business Analysis “A to Z” Masterclass
- Agile Business Analysis: Getting/Writing Lean Requirements
- Mastering Business Requirements Documentation (BRD)
- Requirements Discovery for Business Analyst – 2024
Experience Requirements
- No work experience required
- Must complete the full set of systems analysis training courses before OJT
- Prior academic exposure to business process modeling or system documentation is advantageous
