The UI/UX Design & Prototyping Intern will be involved in creating user-centered design solutions through wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. Trainees will learn to apply design thinking, conduct user research, and build responsive layouts using Figma, Webflow, or Adobe XD—depending on their chosen platform.
Responsibilities
- Design wireframes, mockups, and final UI screens for internal or client products
- Build interactive prototypes for testing and feedback
- Conduct basic UX research including interviews, surveys, and persona development
- Apply visual hierarchy and responsive design techniques
- Participate in sprint reviews, design critiques, and documentation tasks
- Collaborate with dev and content teams to ensure alignment between design and implementation
Educational Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Multimedia Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, or related design fields
- Completion of the following courses (as pre-training):
- UI/UX Design with Figma: Learn User Interface & Experience Design
- The Complete App Design Course – UX, UI and Design Thinking
- User Experience Design Essentials – Adobe XD UI UX Design
- User Research for UX Design
- Wireframing & Prototyping with Figma or Webflow
Experience Requirements
- No industry experience required
- Completion of all UI/UX pre-OJT training courses is mandatory
- Sample school design work or personal design portfolio is an advantage
