Join our team as an API Developer Intern and embark on a journey to design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient APIs that serve as the backbone for web and mobile applications. Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and optimizing RESTful APIs to connect web/mobile applications with backend services.
- Learn to document API functionalities for easy integration and use by external developers.
- Support the integration of third-party services and APIs into existing systems.
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve any API-related issues.
- Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and maintain code quality.
- Gain experience with API security, authentication, and authorization standards.
Educational Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with an emphasis on software development.
Experience Requirements
- Basic understanding of RESTful API development.
- Exposure to programming languages used in API development, such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Some knowledge of database management and design.
Additional Requirements
- Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of handling development environments and tasks.
