The Business Development Intern will support StartupLab in identifying opportunities, researching potential partners, preparing proposals, handling outreach, and assisting with strategic planning. You will help grow StartupLab’s network by communicating with schools, companies, and potential collaborators.
This internship is ideal for students who want experience in sales, client relations, partnership development, and business strategy. Training and mentorship will be provided to guide you in professional communication and market research.
Responsibilities
- Research potential clients, partners, or school partners
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and pitch materials
- Support outreach via email, calls, or social media messaging
- Help track leads and maintain client records
- Coordinate with internal teams for partnership requirements
- Prepare reports and summaries for business opportunities
- Participate in meetings and take notes for follow-up actions
- Assist in building startup growth strategies and campaigns
- Support documentation for new collaborations
Educational Requirements
- Open to Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Management, Communications, or related fields
- Must be enrolled in an OJT / internship program
Experience Requirements
- Experience in school orgs, events, or outreach is an advantage
- Basic familiarity with business communication or lead research
- Experience preparing reports or presentations (school work counts)
- No professional experience required
