Frontend Developer Intern (PHP)

Description

The Frontend Developer Intern (PHP) will assist in building and improving front-end interfaces that use PHP templating, such as Laravel Blade, WordPress themes, or custom PHP-based UI components. You will collaborate with the development team to enhance layouts, integrate APIs, fix UI bugs, and ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces.

This internship is ideal for IT and CS students who want to work on real-world PHP-integrated frontends and understand how UI connects with backend logic. Full mentorship and guidance will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update front-end components using PHP templates
• Assist in building responsive layouts with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with backend developers for API integration
• Fix UI issues and refine visual presentation
• Help maintain and improve PHP-based UI systems
• Document changes and component structures
• Participate in design reviews and development meetings
• Support deployment/testing activities as needed

Educational Requirements

• Open to IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Multimedia Arts, or related courses
• Must be enrolled in an OJT / internship program

Experience Requirements

• Must have created at least one project involving PHP-based UI (school or personal)
• Portfolio or GitHub link showing sample frontend work required
• Basic experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP templating
• Familiarity with Laravel Blade or WordPress theme editing is an advantage
