Mobile App Development Intern

Description

The Mobile App Development Intern will support StartupLab’s development team in building, testing, and improving mobile applications. You will assist in developing app features, fixing bugs, improving UI/UX, integrating APIs, and participating in testing activities.

This role is ideal for students who want real-world experience in either Android, iOS, or cross-platform tools such as Flutter or React Native. Guidance will be provided to help you follow best practices in coding, architecture, and mobile development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building mobile app features based on project requirements
• Fix bugs and perform code improvements
• Help integrate APIs and backend services
• Support UI/UX implementation in mobile screens
• Conduct app testing and report issues
• Document code updates and workflow notes
• Collaborate with designers and system analysts
• Participate in development meetings and sprint updates

Educational Requirements

• Open to IT, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related courses
• Must be enrolled in an OJT / internship program

Experience Requirements

• Must have created at least one mobile app project (school or personal)
• Experience with Flutter, React Native, or native Android/iOS is an advantage
• Portfolio, GitHub link, or sample code is required
• Basic understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns
