Python Developer Intern

Description

The Python Developer Intern will assist StartupLab in developing automation scripts, backend logic, data processing tools, and system utilities using Python. You will work with the development team to build features, debug code, integrate APIs, and support automation workflows.

This internship is ideal for students who want hands-on experience in Python programming, backend development, AI workflows, and automation. Full guidance and mentorship will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Write Python scripts for automation and data-processing tasks
• Assist in developing backend features using Python
• Integrate APIs and handle JSON data
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs in Python applications
• Support automation workflows in different projects
• Document code changes and process notes
• Collaborate with the development and system analysis teams
• Participate in testing and validation of Python scripts

Educational Requirements

• Open to IT, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related fields
• Must be enrolled in an OJT / internship program

Experience Requirements

• Must have created at least one Python project (school or personal)
• Portfolio or GitHub link showing Python scripts or apps
• Basic understanding of APIs or automation concepts
• Familiarity with Python libraries (requests, pandas, etc.) is an advantage
