As a QA Analyst Intern, you will join our dynamic team to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through systematic testing and validation processes. This role offers a comprehensive learning experience in software quality assurance, including the development of test plans, execution of test cases, and collaboration with software developers to resolve issues. You will gain valuable insights into the software development lifecycle and contribute to delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).
- Learn to document and report issues found during testing to the development team for resolution.
- Participate in the review of product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
- Collaborate with software developers and project teams to understand product functionalities and resolve quality issues.
- Engage in continuous knowledge improvement regarding software QA best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Contribute to the development of standards and procedures to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
Educational Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field with an interest in software quality assurance.
Experience Requirements
- Basic understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with any programming or scripting language is a plus.
- Exposure to software testing tools and bug tracking systems.
Additional Requirements
- A stable internet connection and a computer capable of running testing software and tools.
- Headphones or earphones, and a webcam for clear communication during remote collaboration sessions.
