Quality Assurance Intern

Description

The Quality Assurance Intern will support StartupLab’s development team in testing software features, preparing test documentation, and ensuring product quality before deployment. You will perform manual testing, execute test cases, report bugs, assist in regression checks, and validate system behavior against requirements.

This internship is ideal for students interested in software testing, QA processes, and product reliability. Full training will be provided in test execution, bug reporting standards, and QA workflows used in real development environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
• Document and report bugs using standard QA formats
• Assist in creating test cases and test scenarios
• Verify system behavior based on technical requirements
• Perform regression testing when features are updated
• Help monitor testing progress and maintain test logs
• Collaborate with developers to replicate and validate issues
• Support QA team in improving testing processes

Educational Requirements

• Open to IT, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related programs
• Must be enrolled in an OJT / internship program

Experience Requirements

• Familiarity with test case writing through school or personal projects
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience testing websites or applications (school projects count)
• Knowledge of tools like Google Sheets, Notion, or basic bug reporting templates
