Social Media Intern

Description

The Social Media Intern will help create, publish, and manage engaging content across StartupLab’s social platforms. You will assist in planning content calendars, designing simple graphics, writing captions, monitoring engagement, and supporting brand campaigns.

This role is perfect for students who enjoy content creation, social media trends, and digital communication. You will receive guidance from StartupLab’s marketing team and gain hands-on experience in real digital marketing operations.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule content for social media platforms
• Write captions and assist in developing content ideas
• Design simple graphics or templates for posts
• Monitor engagement and gather basic insights
• Research trends, hashtags, and competitor content
• Support community engagement in comments and messages
• Assist the marketing team in planning content calendars

Educational Requirements

• Open to Marketing, Communication, Multimedia Arts, Business, or related programs
• Must be enrolled in an OJT / internship program

Experience Requirements

• Must have created at least one school or personal social media project
• Familiarity with TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram content formats
• Basic experience using Canva or similar tools
• Portfolio or sample posts (school work, personal brand, or project-based) is an advantage
