As a UI/UX Designer Intern, you will contribute to designing aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products. This role provides a unique opportunity to apply your design skills to real-world projects, working closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to create seamless and innovative user experiences. You will gain hands-on experience in the full design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and user testing, helping to shape the future of our digital landscape.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of user interfaces for web and mobile applications based on user research and best practices.
- Participate in the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Contribute to user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs.
- Help maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
Educational Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field with a strong focus on UI/UX design.
Experience Requirements
- Basic knowledge of design principles and tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
- Familiarity with wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing is a plus.
- A portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects (academic, personal, or professional) is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
- A stable internet connection and a computer capable of running design software.
- Headphones or earphones, and a webcam for clear communication during remote collaboration sessions.
