The Workflow Automation Specialist Intern will assist StartupLab in building automated workflows, integrating tools, optimizing internal processes, and reducing manual work across different departments. You will work with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make.com, Google Workspace, webhooks, and API-based connections.
This internship is ideal for students who enjoy problem solving, system logic, connecting applications together, and creating efficient digital workflows. Full training and mentoring will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated workflows using Zapier or Make.com
- Assist in mapping processes and identifying automation opportunities
- Integrate apps using APIs, webhooks, and built-in connectors
- Test and troubleshoot automation issues
- Document workflow logic, triggers, and data paths
- Support teams in optimizing repetitive tasks and improving efficiency
- Monitor workflow performance and update configurations as needed
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and operations teams
Educational Requirements
- Open to IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related programs
- Must be enrolled in an OJT / internship program
Experience Requirements
- Experience using automation tools (even school or personal projects) is an advantage
- Familiarity with Zapier, Make.com, or Google Apps Script is helpful
- Understanding of APIs or basic system logic is a plus
- No professional experience required
